Online Card Catalog

Access the HBE Library's Online Card Catalog
The District's new electronic version of our card catalog (OPAC) is online. Passwords will be provided at a later date. In the meantime, you can still use the site to search for books without logging in.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love.

Teaching Books is an easy-to-use website that adds a multimedia twist to reading children's and young adult books. The online database is developed and maintained to include thousands of resources about fiction and nonfiction books used with grades k-12. You will need a password to use this, even from school. Please see Ms. Eli.

HBE Family Reading Night Join us Wednesdays for Family Reading Night!

We invite parents to come to the HBE Library with your child every Wednesday night from 6 to  8 p.m. to sign out a bag of books. You and your child can read these books together, then return the bag for a new one each week. Your child will also have an opportunity to take Accelerated Reader tests.

Help them conquer the 1,000 books challenge by joining us each week! This is a great way to bond with your child and help them with their reading skills. Share the love of reading together!
