Raiders Receive Team Scholar-Athlete Awards

  - Scholar Athletes to be recognized at the March 21sh Board of Education Meeting.  Meeting is at 7:00 pm, high school cafeteria.

Port PrideMarch 20 2017 - Port Jervis, NY - The Girls Varisty Basekteball Team qualified for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Team Scholar-Athlete Awards.  Teams receive a certificate for the school and each student athlete receives a pin for their achievement. 

The NYSPHSAA honors teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. Those student-athletes, teams, and schools work very hard throughout the year and deserve to be recognized for their academic success.

To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.

Individual Scholar athlete awards

New for 2016-17 - If a team does not meet the Scholar-Athlete Team Criteria, individual students with a 90.0 or above GPA will receive a pin and be named Individual Scholar Athlete.
